UC Hockey Moves Up To #8
Utica, N.Y. (1/31/2011) – SID Gil Burgmaster tells us that the Utica College men’s hockey team moved up six spots in the latest USCHO.com Division III National Poll released Monday. The Pioneers are now ranked No. 8 nationally after defeating No. 15 Hobart in a pair of games at the Aud over the weekend.

NHL Star Nick Palmieri, a Clinton, N.Y. native, was originally scheduled to drop the puck at Saturday night’s Utica College men’s hockey game. Palmieri informed Utica College late last night that he will be unable to attend because of his obligations with the NHL.
