Destito To Host Two Budget Hearings

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Assemblywoman RoAnn Destito will host two budget hearings this week.

They'll both take place on Thursday.

The first hearing will be held at the South Rome Senior Center from 10:00 to 11:30 and the second will take place at the North Utica Senior Center from 1:30 to 3:00.

Assemblyman Herman Farrell, chair of the Assembly Standing Committee on Ways and Means, will attend the hearings to listen to the concerns of area residents.

Destito says during these challenging economic times, she believes that it's essential to get input from the people most affected by the governor's budget -- the taxpayers.
