Former Buffalo Bills quarterback and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly finally got some good health news this week. Really good news.

Doctors who've been treating the 54 year old for a form of sinus cancer now say Kelly has 'no evidence' of the disease.

Kelly has undergone chemotherapy and radiation treatments to fight the disease after being diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. Kelly went public with his diagnosis last June, saying he had cancer in his jaw.

As reported by USAToday.com, here's what doctors said about Kelly this week:

"The treatments so far have completely eliminated Mr. Kelly's pain and his level of function has essentially returned to normal,'' Dr. Peter Costantino said in a media release from the hospital. "Further, on physical examination, there is no evidence of the cancer.''

"It is possible that no further treatment will be required, and the testing over the next week will define this issue,'' Constantino said in the release.
