Albany, NY (WIBX) - Even Governor Andrew Cuomo, long opposed to the legalization of medicinal marijuana, says that he is now "studying" the issue further.

Consideration of medicinal marijuana legislation is said to have "sailed" through the New York State Assembly's Health Committee.  Opponents of the measure say that the requirements are too easy to abuse and make the drug accessible to others.
