A trio of legendary players and three World Series-winning managers were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y. on Sunday afternoon.
It's certainly a good sign of things to come that the Cooperstown crowds could be seen on Main Street on a Thursday, ahead of a what will be a packed weekend at the home of America's oldest pastime.

Dozens of local and regional residents gathered outside the Baseball Hall of Fame on Thursday awaiting President Obama's visit so they could tell him to reject hydro-fracking.
There's excitement in the air in the Village of Cooperstown as President Obama is set to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum this afternoon.
President Obama will be in central New York today to stress how tourism can lead to good-paying jobs, and he'll be delivering his speech inside the Baseball Hall Of Fame in Cooperstown.
