Sabres Win Second Time In Eight Games
Despite all the drama going in to the game, the Buffalo Sabres managed to pull off a victory. Drew Stafford and Nathan Gerbe scored in the third period to bring the Buffalo Sabres to a 4-3 win over the road-weary Edmonton Oilers.

Short Handed Rangers Edged By Lightning 2-1
Brandon Prust had a short-handed goal in the 2nd period for the Ranger's only goal of the game. Dwayne Roloson had 23 saves for the Lightning while Henrik Lundqvist had 17 for the Rangers. The Lightning completed a 4 game sweep of the Rangers this season for the first time since the 1996-97 season
