USA Men Fall To Canada In Semi-Final Game

America's hopes of winning hockey gold at the Winter Games in Sochi, Russia are over.

Team USA Mens' hockey fell short of reaching the gold medal game on Sunday, losing to the Canadian men today 1-0.

The only goal of the game came at 1:41 in the second period scored by Jamie Benn of the NHL's Dallas Stars.

Canada's goalkeeper Carey Price stopped everything that was thrown at him, helping the Canadians reach the gold medal game against Sweden on Sunday.

American Goalkeeper Jonathan Quick made 36 saves and was only beaten once for the USA who now has to prepare for the bronze medal match against Finland tomorrow.

Canada is 4-1 vs the USA in Olympic action since NHL players began competing in 1998.
