2016 America’s Greatest Heart Run And Walk Kick Off

The kick-off event for America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk Weekend 2016 was held on Thursday night at the Yahundasis Golf Club in New Hartford.

Heart Run/Walk Weekend is scheduled for Friday, March 4th and Saturday, March 5th at Utica College.  This year's goal is $1,090,817.

There's a new event this year -- the inaugural "Have A Heart" Half Marathon.

The event will be a timed race starting at General William Floyd Elementary School in Holland Patent and finishing at Utica College.  Registration is $60 and will be open to the first 500 participants.

The WIBX Heart Radiothon will be broadcast live from UC on Friday from 6:00 to 6:00 and Saturday from 5:00 to 1:00.
