Amoroso Appointed Rome City Court Judge

Rome Mayor Joe Fusco has appointed current Oneida County Attorney Greg Amoroso to fill the vacant Rome City Court Judgeship.

Fusco says Amoroso possesses impeccable legal credentials and has a passion for serving the community.

The seat was left vacant as the result of the election of Judge John Gannon to a full-time position as Rome City Court Judge.

Gannon is taking over for Judge Daniel Wilson, who is retiring at the end of the month.

Amoroso previously served as Rome's Corporation Counsel.
