Assembly Speaker Heastie Visits Mohawk Valley

State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie paid a visit to the Mohawk Valley on Thursday.
Heastie says when he was first elected Speaker, he promised he would take a tour of upstate New York to get familiar with some of the areas he wasn't too familiar with.

Heastie toured the Quad-C Building at SUNY Poly with Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi. He says nanotechnology is a key to revitalizing upstate New York.

He also visited St. Elizabeth Medical Center and meet with local elected officials.
