The Utica Police and Fire Departments are currently investigating an incident where a car left the road and hit a house.

Early this afternoon, crews responded to 1020 Kossuth Ave for a car that had struck a home and caught on fire.

Deputy Fire Chief Mark Ambrose says the two men who were in the vehicle had gotten out before the fire in the car's engine reached the interior.

The two men were treated at the scene, then taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The home did not receive fire damage, but the porch's concrete base was damaged.
