Albany, NY (WIBX) - Governor Cuomo has activated the State Emergency Operations Center to monitor the storm and any emergency needs that may occur. Representatives from state agencies such as the State Police, the State DOT, the Thruway Authority and the Department of Health are all on hand to coordinate storm response efforts.

The Secretary to the Governor has also sent a letter to the CEOs of utilities companies that operate within New York State, letting them know they will be held accountable if they do not meet their obligations to New Yorkers during and after the storm.
