FIFA Head Sepp Blatter Resigns As Executives Face Corruption Charges

The head of the Federation of International Football Association has resigned despite being re-elected to his position just days ago.

FIFA President Joseph "Sepp" Blatter won re-election by the world governing body for soccer on Friday.  Today he announced his resignation.

The United States Department of Justice indicted more than a dozen FIFA officials earlier last week, but Blatt was not among them.
