Utica, NY (WIBX) - The number of flu cases in Oneida County continue to climb.

Health Department spokesman Ken Fanelli says as of Wednesday, there have been 504 confirmed cases.

He says that number was at 94 just two weeks ago.

Fanelli says the best way to prevent influenza is to get a flu shot.
