Herkimer Fire Damages Multiple Buildings
Herkimer, NY (WIBX) - A fire in the village of Herkimer displaces 12 people, that according to The American Red Cross of the Mohawk Valley.
Fire fighters responding to the blaze, which broke out at 444 and 446 North Main Street just after midnight, early Sunday morning.
When Fire fighters arrived, smoke and flames were shooting from the buildings, prompting the call for mutual aide. Fire departments from Little Falls, East Herkimer, Ilion and Frankfort all helping to bring the fires under control.
The Arson Task force is investigating the blaze.
