Herkimer Generals Get No.2 Seed in NJCAA Men’s Basketball Championships

Fresh off their third consecutive NJCAA Region III men's basketball title, the Herkimer Generals are headed to Rochester, MN to compete for a national championship.

The Generals defeated MVCC on Sunday, upping their record to 28-1. Herkimer has a No.2 seed in the eight team national championship tournament. They'll play Thursday against seventh-seeded Sandhills at 2:00 p.m (central time) - a community college from Pinehurst, NC.

Herkimer head coach Matt Lee joined Keeler in the Morning on Monday, just after capturing another Region III crown. Lee says Sandhills plays fast and outlined a strategy to slow the pace to benefit his Generals.
