Holland Patent Man Dies in One-Vehicle Automobile Accident
State Police in Remsen investigated a one-vehicle crash inn the Town of Trenton on Sunday morning that resulted in the death of a Holland Patent man.
Troopers say, on May 21, at 5:40 a.m., State Police in Remsen responded to Steuben Valley Road in the town of Trenton for a one-vehicle rollover crash.
The preliminary accident investigation determined that a 2020 Jeep Wrangler, operated by 21-year-old Russell A. Lazarek from Holland Patent, was traveling westbound on Steuben Valley Road approaching Post Road when his vehicle exited the roadway, traveled down an earth embankment, and overturned multiple times, ultimately ejecting Lazarek from the automobile.
Troopers say, Lazarek was pronounced deceased at the scene.
State Police were assisted at the scene by Trenton Fire Department and STaR Ambulance. If anyone has additional information about the crash, please contact State Police or Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers.
