Former Utica Councilman Louis Critelli and other supporters have filed the last round of petition signatures to reform term limits in Utica.

Over 1,500 petition signatures were delivered to the City Clerk on Tuesday to require the question be on the ballot for a public vote in November.

The 92-year old Critell wants to return term limits in Utica back to 8 years as originally approved by public referendum in 1992.

The current 12 year term limits were put in place last year by the Common Council.
