Major Winter Storm To Hit Central New York

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The first major snowstorm of the season is set to hit the area.

Staff meteorologist Jennifer Narramore says the storm, along with some wrap around and lake effect snow, could mean a couple of days of pretty good snowfall.

She says we could see up to 12 inches of snow, with 18 inches possible in some areas.

Narramore says most of the heavy snow should come tonight into tomorrow morning.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 2:00 this afternoon until 1:00 Thursday afternoon.
