You might know Mezco from its diverse line of figures ranging from Axe Cop and the DC Universe to TV shows like Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad. While the company has mostly worked in the more standard (read: affordable) action figure market in the past, Mezco's new One:12 Collective line has a more high-end collector in mind.

Last year, Mezco announced its first One:12 Collective figure, Batman from The Dark Knight Returns. Now, ahead of Toy Fair 2015, the manufacturer has provided new images of the second figure in the One:12 Collective line--none other than Mega-City One's Judge Dredd.

Due out later this year, the One:12 Judge Dredd is ripped straight from the pages of Rebellion's 2000 A.D. From his iconic helmet to the massive badge bearing his name, the likeness is unmistakable, and quite frankly, intimidating. Dredd's less-than-sunny disposition is captured perfectly, and you really do get a sense of the officer's ruthless morality. Part of that comes from how closely Mezco worked with artist Ben Willsher on bringing Judge Dredd to life accurately.

The rest of that uncanny resemblance is owed to the One:12 Collective's mixed media presentation and wealth of accessories. Dredd's outfit is a silkscreened spandex piece, with a working zipper, embellished by the sculpted shoulder armor, badge and boots. He'll come with three pairs of hands for different poses, including a hand rendered with that accusatory point you never want to have in your face. You'll be able to pose him with either a knife, grenades, his Daystick, a set of handcuffs, or the infamous Lawgiver pistol.

The base features Dredd's badge as well, and offers a nice touch for displaying the figure should you take it out of the windowbox package. We'll have a better look at the figure in a few weeks at Toy Fair, but whatever comes next, it will certainly be tough to top starting off a line with Batman and Judge Dredd. We hope Mezco is up to the challenge.

You can pre-order the One:12 Collective Judge Dredd now on Mezco's site for $65.

Even Judge Dredd must face one of the Scariest Comic Book Villains of All-Time.
