Massive Drugstore Chain Shuttering 142 Locations Nationwide, 5 in New York
Pharmacy closures are ramping up across New York State, with seven permanently closing their doors.

With May already being a terrible month for drugstore chains, the last thing customers want to hear is that their local pharmacy is going under.
Just last week, Walgreens confirmed it was closing four additional locations across New York, bringing the total number to 10 so far this year.
For another chain, the writing has been on the wall for over a month that it was going out of business entirely.
