Newport Woman Charged In Stabbing Incident

A Newport woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a 27-year old man inside her home.

State Police say 33-year old Jennifer Conklin stabbed the man on Saturday after she witnessed a physical altercation between the victim and her boyfriend.

Conklin is charged with felony assault.

She was arraigned in the Town of Newport Court and sent to the Herkimer County jail on $10,000 bail.
