NY Mills Fred Russ Class “D” Player Of The Year

(WIBX950 Sports)  On Wednesday,  New York Mills boys basketball star Fred Russ was named the Class "D" player of the year by the New York State Sports Writers Association.Russ helped the Marauders win their second New York State Basketball Championship in March as New York Mills beat John Coleman Catholic High School in Glens Falls.  Russ scored 17 points in the title game and was named the Tournament MVP.
