One Critically Injured In NYC Ferry Accident

New York, NY (WIBX) - At least one person is in critical condition following a ferry accident this morning in New York City.  

NBC is reporting the victim is in surgery for a head injury.

The Seastreak from New Jersey had what's described as a hard landing just before 9:00.

The boat was damaged by the impact.

Nearly 60 people were injured.

Many of the injuries are reportedly minor.

Rescue crews are on the scene treating some of the victims.
