Over 300 winter coats, along with hundreds of gloves, hats and other winter accessories, were collected for the Rescue Mission of Utica during the "Warm For Winter" clothing Drive.

The drive was conducted last month by Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi's Office, along with Chanatry's Market and employees at Mid-State Correctional Facility.

Brindisi says they were amazed by the generosity of the many people who donated warm coats and other winter items.

Anyone who would like to donate new or gently used coats and other winter clothing can drop the items off at the Rescue MIssion's Adminsitrative Building at 212 Rutger Street weekdays from 8:00 to 4:00.
