Rome Memorial Hospital Lifts Visitor Restrictions

Another local hospital is lifting restrictions on visitors under the age of 18 based on a decline in the number of flu-like illness in the area.

Rome Memorial Hospital has also lifted visitor restrictions for their Maternity and Pediatric Units.

While the restrictions have been lifted, hospital officials ask that visitors who feel ill with any type of upper respiratory problem delay their visit to protect patients.

Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare and St. Elizabeth Medical Center lifted visitor restrictions earlier this week.
