Sawyer Fredricks To Be Guest At Utica’s Veteran’s Day Parade

The Season 8 winner of NBC's "The Voice" will be the special guest at Utica's Veteran's Day Parade.

Sawyer Fredricks will also sing the National Anthem at the "Flags for Heroes" ceremony taking place at the Parkway Rec Center following the parade.

The parade will be held on November 5th starting at 11:00 at Our Lady of Loudres Church on Genesee Street.

"Flags for Heroes” is a ten  day display of 1,000 full size American flags displayed on the median of the Utica Memorial Parkway in honor or memory of Veteran Heroes.

The Flags will be displayed between November 5th and November 13th.  The community is invited to sponsor the flags for $35 each, with all proceeds to benefit Good News Center programs offered in support of Military personnel, their families and marriages.
