Six Utica Men Facing Prostitution Charges After Sting Operation
Utica, NY (WIBX) - A reverse prostitution sting operation led to the arrest of six Utica men. That's according to Utica Police who conducted the investigation in an area known for a high level of prostitution activity.
62-year-old Thomas Ryan is charged with:
- Patronizing a Prostitute and Loitering for the Purpose of Engaging in Prostitution and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
26-year-old Kio Gay is charged with:
- Patronizing a Prostitute and Loitering for the Purpose Engaging in Prostitution. Officials say Gay also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest on a Harassment charge.
17-year-old Ler Wah is charged with:
- Patronizing a Prostitute and Loitering for the Purpose of Engaging In Prostitution.
51-year-old Islam Sipic is charged with:
- Loitering for the Purpose of Engaging in Prostitution.
60-year-old Trai Tranh Le is charged with:
- Loitering for the Purpose of Prostitution.
46-year-old Brian Lorento is charged with:
- Loitering for the Purpose of Prostitution.
All the suspects are scheduled to appear in Utica City Court to face the charges. Officials did not release the images of Lorento, Le, and Sipic.
