Three Central New York Teens Named NY Junior Dairy Leaders

Two Oneida County teens and one from Madison County have received a great honor in the state agricultural industry.

Nelson Cassidy of Sttitville, Ashley Thorton of Boonville and Kylie Lehr of Canastota are among 31 NY Junior Dairy Leaders set to graduate August 9th at Empire Farm Days.

Junior Dairy Leaders is a state-wide program by Cornell University for youth between the ages of 16 and 19 with an interest in learning about career opportunities in the dairy industry.

The graduation ceremony will take place during Empire State Farm Days in the Dairy Profit Seminar Center at Rodman Lott & Son Farms, 2973 Route 414, Seneca Falls, NY.
