Utica Common Council President Seeking Second Term

Incumbent Utica Common Council President Michael Galime has announced his re-election bid.

In a statement Galime says, "the goals offered in his 2015 campaign for Council President are now offered as accomplishments to build from."

Galime also says, "Supporting the rebirth of our community is a paramount task, while recognizing that residents, business owners and community stakeholders that have remained dedicated to Utica shall not be forgotten."

Galime carries the endorsements of the Republican, Independence and Conservative Party lines. He will face a challenge from Democrat Judy Galimo.
