Utica Man Arrested for Allegedly Shoplifting from WalMart
A Utica man was arrested for allegedly shoplifting from a retailer.
Utica Police responded to WalMart for a shoplifting complaint at about 12:50p.m. on Monday, December 2. 2013.
Store security gave police a description of a white man, whom they said stole a laptop computer, along with the car he was driving. Officers found the vehicle and stopped it. Police say the suspect was identified as 40-year old David Benner of Ballantyne Brae.
The laptop was recovered. Benner was charged with misdemeanor theft.
