Utica Man Arrested For ‘Dating’ Relationship With Minor

A Utica man has been arrested by State Police for allegedly engaging in a "dating-type" relationship with a minor under the age of 17.

State Police say 31-year-old Han San would sneak the minor into her residence during the overnight hours.

The defendant is also a New York State Level II Registered Sex Offender.

San was taken into custody and held in the UPD lock-up pending arraingment in Utica City Court.

The victim was offered counseling services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
