Utica National Becomes $1 Billion Company
The Utica National Insurance Group has become a $1 billion organization.
The company surpassed $1billion in direct written premiums on December 22nd.
“Achieving $1 billion in direct written premiums is a milestone that everyone at Utica National Insurance Group is proud of reaching,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Richard Creedon. “For over 100 years, we have strived to provide experiences that make people feel secure, appreciated and respected. We are humbled and thrilled that our agent/customers and policyholders have entrusted us with their business to help us reach $1 billion.”
Utica National began in Utica in 1914 as the Utica Mutual Compensation Insurance Corporation.
In its first year, the company posted $133,359 in written premiums.
