Utica Woman Sentenced In Death Of Her Mother

The Utica woman convicted of killing her mother was in Oneida County Court on Monday.

26-year old Tasheonia Hills was sentenced to 22 years to life in prison.

She was found guilty of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon in December.

Hills fatally stabbed her mother Irene Williams at her Humphrey Gardens apartment in North Utica in February of 2017
