Verona Man Arrested Following Domestic Incident
A Town of Verona man is facing charges following a domestic incident.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 27-year old Jacob Wheelock allegedly placed the victim in a chokehold and held the victim against their will inside of a residence.
Deputies say Wheelock eventually allowed the victim to leave.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for a mouth injury and released.
Wheelock is charged with assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and unlawful imprisonment.
