Woman Dies, 2 People Hurt In 2-Vehicle Crash Near Rochester

GREECE, N.Y. (AP) — Police say one person has died and two others are hospitalized after two vehicles collided on a suburban Rochester road.

Authorities in the Monroe County town of Greece say a woman in her late 20s was driving south on Manitou Road around 4:30 p.m. Sunday when she collided with a northbound vehicle.

The woman's car crashed and overturned onto its roof. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name hasn't been released.

Police say a man and a woman in the other vehicle were injured. Officers say he is listed in guarded condition at a Rochester hospital while the woman is in fair condition.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
