NASCAR driver Kurt Busch said in court this week that his ex-girlfriend is a murderous trained assassin as he fends off allegations of domestic abuse.

But, wait, could it be true?

Busch - nicknamed 'The Outlaw' - allegedly smashed Patricia Driscoll's head against a motorhome wall three times. He has a different version of events that doesn't involving him banging her head against the wall, and then outlines a seemingly outlandish description of Driscoll, possibly as a way to explain the injuries she sustained.

Sounds crazy, but get this, Busch isn't alone is his assertion, the Associated Press reports:

Last month, Michael Doncheff, who served as a personal assistant to Busch and Driscoll, said an ailing Driscoll told him in September that she had been picked up by a big man and slammed to the ground while helping round up immigrants at the Mexican border, a story Doncheff considered "far-fetched."

Doncheff said Driscoll also asserted that she was a trained assassin for the U.S. government and once told him, "I take down foreign governments. I own Washington."

Furthermore, Deadspin.com came across this video - which they refer to as a mini-documentary - where Driscoll calls herself 'Mommy Commando' and says she 'owns and runs' a defense company:

One of her jobs is as the president of the Armed Forces Foundation, a non-profit that seeks to improve the health of military service members. But she's also the owner of a defense contractor called Frontline Defense Systems that provides military equipment to the government and private companies.

Busch also recalls a bizarre incident, if true, that sounds like it comes from an action-thriller movie. He says Driscoll left the house one day in camouflage and when she returned hours later was wearing a large trench coat, and underneath, a dress with blood spatter on it, the Associated Press reports.

Driscoll claims these stories of her come from a fictional script (possibly book or movie) she's been working on for years.

What do you think?
