A New Hartford man was arrested on drug charges after police searched his home on Morris Circle.

The Oneida County Drug Enforcement Task Force says 28-year old David Inserra is facing a charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the first-degree, which could result in a sentence of 12 to 24 years in state prison.

Police say they seized 14 ounces of cocaine with a street value of $25, 000 along with over $26,000 in cash.

Inserra was arraigned in the Town of New Hartford Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail without Bail.
