Riding a four game losing streak, the previously 13-16, and 4-12 in the ACC, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets rolled into Syracuse and knocked off the seventh-ranked Orange 67-62 on Tuesday putting a damper on Senior Night at the dome.
Maybe it's time to start getting worried. Following a school best 25-0 start, the fourth-ranked Syracuse Orange have now lost three of four after getting out played, out shot and out hustled by No. 12 Virginia on Saturday.
It was a win that ends a two-game skid, but yet another one that Syracuse fans had to sweat out in the closing minute of a game that never should have been that close. And, for much of the second half, it really wasn't.
C.J. Fair rebounded from his worst performance of the season vs. Notre Dame on Monday to lead No.1 Syracuse with 19 points and the Orange kept rollin' on Sunday night with a 57-44 win over Clemson.
The 2014 Syracuse Orange Men's Basketball team is off to it's best start in school history. In their first year in the ACC they are unbeaten with a record of 23-0 overall and 10-0 in ACC conference play. They are ranked number one, and appear as if they are impossible to beat.
Syracuse beat Duke on Saturday night 91-89 in one of the biggest and most memorable games ever played at the Carrier Dome.
