The Utica College Pioneers enjoyed a 4-2 lead one minute into the third period in front of a sell-out crowd of 3,815 fans on Saturday night; but, saw the victory slip away after 3 unanswered Nazareth goals. After a sluggish first 20 minutes of play by both teams, the action took off just over three minutes into the second period as the league rivals put up five goals in a span of nine minutes... R

The Utica College men's hockey team opened the season at home on Saturday night with a 4-2 win over Castleton State University in front of a full house at the Aud. All four goals scored by the Pioneers came from freshmen.  Kyle Lajeunesse score the first gaol just under the 13 minute mark of the first period...

A 2-1 lead was not enough for the Utica Pioneers men's hockey team on Saturday as Elmira scored four unanswered goals en route to a 5-2 win to capture the ECAC title. The Pioneers had a 1-0 lead and a 2-1 lead midway through the second period but the Soaring Eagles would score four goals in the final 23:15 of the contest to earn the conference tournament crown...
