12,370-Month Jail Sentence in Bradford County

The District Attorney in Bradford County, Pennsylvania says a man accused of raping a girl for twenty years, starting when she was 7 years old, will never see the light of day as a free man again.

57-Year-old Donald Burrell of Towanda was sentenced to almost to 1,031 years in prison after he had been convicted on over 5,100 sex abuse charges.  Burrell was sentenced November 9 after being convicted in June.

State Police investigators say the abuse happened non-stop for over 20 years.

It took a jury in Bradford County four days to convict Burrell.
