15 Year Old Arrested In Utica Robbery

A 15-year old boy has been arrested in connection with a robbery on the 1500 block of Lenox Avenue in Utica.

Utica Police say the teen pushed a woman to the ground, held her face to the pavement and then grabbed her purse and fled.

Officers spotted the supsect walking in the area and took the teen into custody following an extended foot chase.

They say the suspect had the victim's property in his possession.

His case has been turned over to the Juvenile Aid Unit and charges will be pending in Oneida County Family Court
