Utica Police arrested a teenager over the weekend following a 'shots fired' incident on the 1100 block of Conkling Avenue.

Police were dispatched to the area of St. Vincent Street and upon arrival were directed to the location on Conkling, where the actual incident occurred.

Once on scene, officers located several spent shell casings and a vehicle that had been struck by gun fire.

According to police, the investigation revealed that the males who fired the shots fled into a residence on St. Vincent Street and officers unltimately made contact with the occupants and gained entry.

Once inside, a loaded 38-caliber handgun was located. It was determined that the gun allegedly belonged to 17-year-old Tyheim Holland of Utica. He's facing several weapon charges.
