4th Of July Travel Up

It's going to be a busy 4th of July travel weekend.

Ed Welsh of AAA Central New York say they're predicting that 41.9 million people will be traveling this holiday weekend.  That's the largest number since 2007 and 1% increase over last year.

Welsh says motorists can expect the lowest Independence Day gas prices in the past five years. He says prices are about $1 a gallon cheaper than they were last year at this time.

Welsh says 85% of holiday travelers will be going by car.
