Accident Closes Part Of Route 31 In Vernona [UPDATE]

A portion of Route 31 is closed following an accident near VVS High School.

The accident reportedly involved two vehicles and as many as eight people may have been injured.

UPDATED: 4:19 P.M.- The Oneida County Sheriff's Office tells us nine people were injured in the crash, three of them seriously.
