UPDATE: 02/23/2016  4:41am Ryan Lawrence was reported taken into custody overnight.  Crews are continuing to search for 21-month old Maddox Lawrence, who was not with abduction suspect Ryan Lawrence at the time.

UPDATE: 02/22/2016  8:28am Sgt. Richard Helterline of Syracuse Police joined WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning to discuss the case.

Sgt. Helterline says that there are no new leads in the case this morning.

He says that Maddox Lawrence's parents, Morgan Lawrence and suspect Ryan Lawrence, were together and that the alleged abduction was "out of the blue."

Because the couple shared one car, which was left at the mall, Helterline says they do not have a description of any other vehicle that may have been involved.  He is urging anyone with information - even if that information consists of just a "hunch-" to call 911.  He says they would certainly rather be safe instead of sorry.
