The body of a second ball who had fallen over the lower falls at Letchworth State Park has been found.

New York State Police are identifying the second boy as Dylan Giangregorio, the nine-year-old brother of six-year-old Preston Giangregorio, whose body was recovered on Sunday, June 12, 2016.

A written release from New York State Police, with updates, reads as follows:

"SP Warsaw: **Update** 6/14 New York State Park Police being assisted by New York State Police with 7 people that fell over the lower falls at Letchworth State Park.

On June 11, 2016, at 7:00 pm, seven people went over the lower falls at Letchworth State Park, five of which were rescued and transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with injuries varying from serious to minor. 

Calls began coming in around 6:30 p.m. Saturday night, for multiple people over the falls. New York State Park Police were on scene as well as New York State Police and Wyoming County Sheriffs. New York State Police Helicopters and Underwater Recovery Team (URT) were also being used to search for those who fell in.

Throughout Monday June 13, 2016, Underwater Recovery Team from the State Police and Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by Adventure Calls Rafting, Inc., have continued searches of the Genesee River below Lower Falls at Letchworth State Park. State Park Police Officers and Troopers are also actively engaged at the scene of Saturday’s accident, with support from Pike Ambulance.

As of June 13, 2016, 4:30 pm, Monday’s searches have not yielded any additional findings, and searches will continue on Tuesday of the same area.

The victim recovered Sunday afternoon is identified as Preston Giangregorio, 6 years of age, of Brockport. Still unrecovered is his brother, Dylan Giangregorio, 9 years of age.

**Late Tuesday afternoon June 14, 2016, Underwater Recovery Team from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and the State Police located and recovered Dylan Giangregorio from the Genesee River below Lower Falls, at Letchworth State Park. Dylan was removed from the scene and transported to the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Law enforcement and emergency responders involved in this tragic accident worked diligently to locate the victims, and offer their sympathies to the family and friends of Dylan and his brother Preston. **"
