Boonville Man Critically Injured In Route 12 Crash

State Police are investigating a two-vehicle accident that happened Wednesday night on Route 12 in Boonville.

Troopers say 83-year old Richard Dardano of Boonville was traveling north when he crossed the center line and entered the southbound lane, where a truck was traveling.

They say 52-year old Jeffery O'Donnell swerved trying to avoid a collision, but was side-swiped by Dardano.

Dardano is in critical condition at a local hospital.

O'Donnell was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
