Canastota Boy Honored By Rome Police

An 8-year old boy from Canastota has been awarded a Rome Police Chiefs Certificate of Appreciation for his generous act of kindness towards the members of the Rome Police Department.

Bruce Sancomb, the third was presented with the certificate and a Rome Police prize pack after Sancomb and his Great Aunt made gift bags for every member of the Rome PD during National Police Week.

Rome Police Chief Kevin Beach presented Sancomb with the certificate and prize pack during a ceremony that was held at the Canastota Elementary school where Sancomb is a student.
