Canastota Couple Facing Grand Larceny Charges

A Canastota couple is facing grand larceny charges for allegedly stealing from an elderly East Syracuse man.

State Police say 58-year old Kenneth Bennett and 47-year old Michelle Beck allegedly extorted more than 100-thousand dollars from the man over the last year.

Bennett and Beck were both arraigned and sent to the Onondaga County Justice Center.

Beck is being held in lieu of $5,000 bail, while Bennett is being held without bail.
